Preschool Program
We invite you to join the governing council, which meets twice a term to make sure the centre runs smoothly. Read through what a governing council does and speak to us to register your interest.
Times
Your child can attend preschool for up to 15 hours per week.

Kindy Care Trial
Kindy Care is being trialled at a number of Department for Education preschool sites, including Gawler and District College B-12 Children’s Centre.
The trial is testing how different models of out of preschool care can operate. Kindy Care will be available in 2026 as part of the trial.
Children must be enrolled in the Kindy Care program by completing a booking form. The program is only available on your child’s enrolled days and during term time. As part of the trial, the program will be reviewed to ensure effectiveness and suitability.
What To Bring
Your child needs to bring these items each day:
- bag
- hat
- change of clothes
- drink bottle containing water
- healthy snack
- packed lunch
Please write your child’s name on all of their belongings.
What Not To Bring
Children should not bring these things:
- unhealthy food or drink (lollies, chocolate, chips, fizzy drinks)
- food containing nuts (some children have nut allergies that can be dangerous)
- toys from home.
